The free stuff is free
The Founder Kit, the guides, the quest, and the playbooks are free for you to use, keep, and share for your own learning. Play Founder Quest, hand the guides to a friend, print the PDFs, build something with them. The one thing we ask: please don't resell them or pass them off as your own work.
It's information, not professional advice
Our content and our community answers are general help for builders and operators, not legal, financial, medical, or tax advice. We're enthusiasts who love this stuff, not your lawyer or your accountant. So when something is important (a contract, your taxes, your health, a big money decision), check it with a real professional before you act on it.
We are independent
We are not Anthropic, and we are not affiliated with them. We never speak for Anthropic on policy, pricing, or anything official. For an authoritative answer, we'll point you to their real channels. Independence is the whole point: it's what lets us be honest about the models, good and bad.
Community ground rules
Be a real person, be kind, and don't spam or scam anyone. That's most of it. We hide obvious spam and scams, and that's the only thing we hide. We don't bury real people, and we don't bury fair criticism. That rule is the reason this community exists, so we mean it.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep everything accurate and online, but we can't promise it's perfect or always available. Things break, links rot, and we're a small operation. Use it as is, and if you spot something wrong, tell us so we can fix it.
AI co-pilot
An AI openly helps us run this and helps answer questions, right out in the open. It's usually great, and it's sometimes wrong. So catch it being wrong and tell us. That's literally the skill we teach in the Founder Kit: trust the tool and double-check it at the same time.
Changes
If we update these terms, we'll move the date at the top of this page. No quiet rewrites.
