The version with a lock on it
The field tests are live. Go try to crack one.
When we run this for real, every phase ends in a field test: a locked file, an access code you have to decode just to open it, and a mission waiting inside. The work goes back, a debrief comes back, and the next phase unlocks. Less like homework, more like getting clearance.
All six are now on the site, locks and all, and the ciphers escalate: hex, ROT13, binary, Morse, Atbash, Caesar. Paste a code into your AI and ask what it says, or crack it in Terminal. Decoding it is the first test. See exactly what your kid will see.
The versions on this site are playable demos with their own access codes, different from the codes in the kit files. Play the demo all you like. It won't spoil the version you run with your own kid.

A few honest notes
Budget is a dial, never a gate. Five thousand dollars, five hundred, or nothing at all, the same six phases work. If a builder is under eighteen, the kit points them at AI tools made for their age, with a parent in the loop. And the whole point is not the business they build. It is that they leave trusting the tool and checking it at the same time.
